Mining Software Reviews is an independent review platform for mining industry software. You may use the Site to browse software listings, read reviews, submit reviews, and claim vendor profiles, subject to these Terms.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt

Accounts

To submit reviews or claim a vendor profile, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Reviews & User Content

By submitting a review, you grant Mining Software Reviews a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your review content on the Site and in connection with our services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • Your review is based on genuine experience with the software
  • Your review is accurate and not misleading
  • Your review does not violate any third-party rights
  • You are not being compensated by a vendor to submit a review

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, is defamatory, or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

Vendor Profiles

Software vendors may claim their profile on Mining Software Reviews. Claimed profiles allow vendors to update product information and respond to reviews. Vendors may not:

  • Remove, suppress, or edit user reviews
  • Pay for higher rankings or preferential placement
  • Submit reviews for their own products
  • Incentivise or coerce customers to submit favourable reviews

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, excluding user-submitted reviews, is the property of Mining Software Reviews and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any review or content on the Site.

Reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of Mining Software Reviews. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on review content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mining Software Reviews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site.
